2010 Registration is HERE!!!

The fee is $120 per swimmer ($130 after 4/16), payable to CRPD for coaches and pool use. There is also a $20 per swimmer fee payable to the Blue Marlins to help cover league and team expenses as well as an additional check made out to the Blue Marlins for $75. That is the volunteer deposit that is shredded after the family completes at least 20 hours of volunteer work. Forms and money can be mailed or walked into the office. Please be neat, complete and remember to sign the waiver on the back. Partial payments to CRPD can also be made at the CRPD office. You let us know what you want your payment plan to be; making sure that it is paid in full by June 17.

If you have friends, neighbors or family that are interested in the team, they can register anytime or at CRPD’s annual Spring Extravaganza on April 3
rd at the pool from 10 am to 2 pm. New 8/under swimmers will need to show the coaches that they can swim 10 yards unassisted on that day too. Older swimmers can register any time.

About the Team
The Blue Marlins is a recreational swim team that competes with other Sacramento area teams in the Valley Foothill Competitive Aquatic League during the summer.

The teams are open to boys and girls, beginners as well as experienced swimmers, between the ages of 5 and 18.  New swimmers must be able to swim at least 10 yards, unassisted on their first day of practice.

Throughout the season of May, June, and July, the coaching staff stresses participation and skill development. The practices are after school until summer vacation, when they are moved to the morning.

The team has an active parent club to benefit the swimmers and to organize fundraising, meet responsibilities, and social events.

The volunteer requirements, practice times, meet information and season schedule are printed in the team handbook received at registration and on this website.
