About the Team
The Blue Marlins is a recreational swim team that competes with other Sacramento area teams in the Valley Foothill Competitive Aquatic League during the summer.

The teams are open to boys and girls, beginners as well as experienced swimmers, between the ages of 5 and 18.  New swimmers must be able to swim at least 10 yards, unassisted on their first day of practice.

Throughout the season of May, June, and July, the coaching staff stresses participation and skill development. The practices are after school until summer vacation, when they are moved to the morning.

The team has an active parent club to benefit the swimmers and to organize fundraising, meet responsibilities, and social events.

The volunteer requirements, practice times, meet information and season schedule are printed in the team handbook received at registration and on this website.
